Like others have mentioned, this is pretty much a hole in the wall, no frills established. I was craving regular / decent fried shrimp and hush puppies for lunch and didn’t want to pay $20/$30 for a plate. So found this place on Google. Decent enough quality, especially for the price. Called order in and it was ready when I got there. Satisfied my craving and I’ll probably be back. Prices are still consistent with the prices quoted years ago which I can genuinely appreciate. Con: didn’t care for the smell of the place. But not sure if that was due to a patron or just generally how the dining

I ordered the gumbo and salad and was so disappointed in the meal. While the salad was fresh, it was very small. The gumbo was so spicy I could hardly eat it and certainly couldn't finish it. it had very few vegetables if any, the broth had no flavor other than some hot spice and only a few pieces of shrimp with two tiny pieces of sausage. It was basically warm water, some type of hot sauce and a few shrimp. For the price, I was totally disappointed ...and will not be back here. The waitress was friendly when she got around to checking on us but seemed unconcerned about my comments regardin
