The owner family came from Brooklyn, NYC, so they serve authentic Brooklyn-style pizza. We tried the classic cheese pizza and the white pizza, and both were absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is quite small, but they have a spacious patio table and a few small tables outside, making it a great spot for a family dinner. I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pizza guy, Eddie, showed me his pizza-making process, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him work. (You can see everything!) We also ordered the zeppole, which were so delicious!

I fear I am falling in love with this place - and it’s nearby?! Dangerous combo. I can hands down say this is the best pizza around - no doubt! I visited NYC and haven’t stopped thinking about the pizza I had while I was there… nothing in Jax/st John’s compared - Miei Amici Pizzeria hit that craving perfectly. The ingredients are extremely fresh and you can tell this pizza has real roots behind it. I couldn’t even take a picture before I downed a slice. Hidden Italian gem in St. John’s county. Pizza is amazing and makes me feel like I am back in NY. Love the crust! Highly recommend if looking for great pizza. Try the drunken Nona and the NY style margarita pizza as well. 👍
