The carnitas was delicious just a little on the greasy side. The rice was a lil dry, but the beans were excellent. The guacamole and pico de gallo were delicious. The chips were a little bit too salty though. My only complaint is that I did not receive any plastic silverware or any napkins. I would say that it’s overpriced, but you do get a good portion and everything is expensive now in 2026

Weeel, dang it. We both got sick within hours of eating here. This is unfortunate. It's been years since eating here because we prefer more authentic Mexican food as opposed to the El Toro Americanized version. Nothing wrong with that, just prefer the authentic path but wanted to do something different. Had fond memories but after this experience, won't be back. Service was good. Food presented nicely. We decided to try El Toro again since it had been years. The food was okay — not bad, but nothing special either. I’d give it about a 3.5 out of 5. It was decent, just not the best Mexican food we’ve had. What really hurt the experience was the service. It took a long time for our waitress to first come to our table, and we barely saw her after that. We had to wait for drink refills and felt like we were looking around for help most of the meal. That made it hard to fully enjoy our time there. Because of that, it’ll probably be a while before we go back.

Went for dinner here Friday night. It was pretty busy but that’s to be expected. Our waiter I think Jason was his name, was very friendly. It was unfortunate that we had asked for plain avocado to replace the guacamole but our waiter told us the kitchen said no. We also asked for double beans and not only did the kitchen tell our waiter no but said he got us the beans and paid for the $2.25 fee himself. Not sure why the kitchen would have such issue with replacing items when we have ordered like that before. That kinda left a displeasing vibe when our waiter was trying and that was a lasting i
