We had a nice time at Fibar MaGees Sports Bar on Murphy Avenue. It’s an awesome spot if you’re into watching soccer in the afternoon, the place streams all major matches, which really adds to the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to stream the specific game we wanted, making sure we were comfortable throughout. That level of service really stood out. Food was great, with plenty of solid options to choose from, and the beer selection was impressive as well. Overall, a fantastic place to catch a game, enjoy good food, and hang out with friends. My son and I went in after golf and sat the bar.Ashley took our drink order and we looked over the food menu. I asked about the Shepherds Pie and she said it was good...she wasn't lying. It was really good and so was the Guinness I washed it down with. Ashley was great and she made sure we were doing Ok with drinks or anything else we needed. I asked her about their Chicken Curry and she said it wealy great so I told if I ever made it back I'd try it. Well...a couple of days later my wife and I were looking for lunch so we went back. We sat at a table and were lucky enough to get Ashley again.

Great spot, but not impressed with service. Stopped in looking for Fish and Chips for a Friday dinner. I arrived before the rush and sat at the bar. I was able to order beer and food quickly, and food arrived in decent time and was very hot. After that, it was busy and bar staff had no time for bar patrons and were filling orders for servers. Myself and another patron I had a conversation with had difficulty getting any attention for beer refills and final tab. My order taker did catch a mistaken custom take out appetizer order at the end of my stay and sent it back to the kitchen for th
