Our friends absolutely love Shah Restaurant and have been wanting us to try it for a while, so we finally went together. It's a small, no-frills place with a very basic setup--but honestly, the food is what truly matters here. We ordered chicken seekh kabab, chicken tandoori, chicken kadhai, along with garlic naan and butter rotis. As a patriotic Indian I was a bit uncomfortable trying a food at a restaurant which has Pakistan in its cuisine. Nevertheless my friend told me that Pakistani restaurants here at Bay Area have mastered the flavors and serve us the authentic food, hence I wanted to give it a try. I have been here multiple times and love their sheekh kebab and karahi chicken. I have tried their paneer dishes, naans and more along with. Their naans offer a good portion for 1 person and pair well with the gravies. I'm still exploring the rest of the menu and tried the chicken tikka, which was not as well done or nice as the earlier dishes

Good takeout experience. One chicken sheeh kabab and one chicken tandoori breast. Made fresh. Good portion size. The soda is a bit expensive at $2 a can and $4.50 a glass bottle, but it is nice and cold.
