Great little spot. Seem to know what gluten is and they do have a gluten free menu, but aren't particularly prepared to provide many options to celiac folks. I'd have thought with the volume of fries/fried food they could have a dedicated fries frier to keep it gluten free, but their gluten free menu explicitly states it's a shared frier. Basically if you're celiac you have to get a salad (but not one with ranch) or a burger (which I don't often want a burger) I'd really been hoping the gravy for the poutine would be a cornstarch gravy but seems like it's full on wheat. So great spot, very tas

I came her on a snowy night eager to enjoy the poutine and beer. The beer part was taken care of with a huge selection. The decor and ambiance was very inviting with the red bricks and tall ceiling. I got the pierogi and found it a tad chewy and lacking flavor. The sour cream made up for it. As a vegetarian I skipped the bacon jam but I hoped the pierogi itself would carry its weight. The poutine arrived and I dug into it. I found this to be on the other end of the salt scale! The gravy was a bit heavy on the rosemary. Overall I didn't find it to be too pleasant.

The staff was nice! The food was great! We love the game room in the back! We stop here on our bar crawl, and some of us order food and it comes out so fast!! Love the drafts. Always have fun here!

Awesome, that is the only way I can describe my experience at this nice little restaurant. I ordered off their menu and received more than I expected. The burger was cooked just like I liked it medium mooooo. When I have a chance to visit Syracuse again, my first stop is to the Hops Spot, and when asked, I'll tell everyone about this place. Also, don't get me started on the beer list. I haven't seen a selection like this since my time spent in Germany.
