Had a great experience today! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything came out quickly. A special shoutout to Alex, our server, who was absolutely awesome. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal without ever being overbearing. As someone who travels for work a great restaurant located inside your hotel is a rare treat. My server Victoria was attentive, friendly and gave great recommendations. I had the spaghetti and meatballs which was fantastic, and a delicious pistachio gelato for dessert. Will definitely return next time I’m in town.

Since just living in Tampa for over a year we have seen this standout yellow awning at the Downtown Hilton many times. Finally, we decided to try it before a show at the Straz. We were shocked to find out that Che Vita just opened last summer (2025)!! I could swear it had been longer but I was informed it’s fairly new. To start we had the Heirloom Tomato Panzanella (sadly no pic). It was nice blend of the burrata spread on focaccia crostini.
