This was pretty good Chinese food. It did not knock our socks off as far as flavor goes, but it was really good. The man who runs the place was very gracious. The atmosphere is like an old diner, but I don’t go to these restaurants for atmosphere. We drove 20 minutes to eat here. I would not drive 20 minutes just to eat here again, but, if I were in the vicinity, I would give it a shot and try a few different things.

Chen's Noodle House was delicious, fresh, and authentic. We got the wontons in chili oil, beef skewers, pork belly skewers, soup dumplings, and szcehwan beef noodles. The service was great, the food came out at a great pace, and it was a nice atmosphere. I'll be back soon!

It was our first time and not only was the food amazing but the service was great! Super friendly and sweet staff. Very similar to din tai fung which is why we tried it and our expectations were surpassed. Will definitely come again!

By far the best Chinese food we’ve had in Tempe. Family owned and quick service. Food was terrific. I got the braised chicken house special. It came with rice, hot and sour soup and a fried egg. It was delicious and very warm/homey. My husband got the sweet and sour chicken. Very crispy chicken and the portion sizes were generous. Also came with soup, rice and a spring roll.
