We went fir our 46th Anniversary. Our waiter, Peter, was very knowledgeable about the history and cuisine. The food was so well prepared, it needed no added seasoning. We drove 1 1/2 hours to get there. It was such a good experience, my husband decided on our way home that we would be returning for each of our birthdays in August abd October.

We celebrated my parent's 75th birthdays here this evening. The food was phenomenal .The amaretto chicken was delicious, the pork shanks very good, the wedge salad top notch . Everyone got different things and all enjoyed their meals very much . The intimate setting made for a special celebration as well . The server "Peter" was the best we've ever had ! He made the meal even more delightful with wonderful suggestions, history of the restaurant and building as well as on point for everything !! If you want a perfectly prepared steak and a stellar atmosphere, look no further. We started with the incredible house bread and their sun-dried tomato pesto garlic spread--it was so unique and flavorful. The ribeye was melt-in-your-mouth good, paired perfectly with the tasty asparagus and those 'chef's kiss' garlic and cheese mashed potatoes. The ambience sets a wonderful mood, and the service was world-class. Our waiter, Jeff, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and attentive, making sure the whole experience was top-notch. This restaurant is an old, I believe, 1920s stable that long ago housed horses. It is definitely the "cat's pajamas ". Completely renovated, they turned the horse stalls into private dining areas! The food was top notch! The service great! And the atmosphere spoke for itself!
