Showed up at lunchtime (between noon and 1) on a Friday to a nearly empty restaurant. That was my first concern. We were seated immediately but it took nearly 10 minutes to get our water and Sprite and have our order taken. Then we were ignored until our food was served. I ordered a cheese enchilada and a chicken enchilada but got two cheese. They were average, the rice was wet and soggy and not a typical rice. I like this place! The food is fresh, tasty and authentic! Burritos, tacos, it’s all good! Except the deep fried ice cream. Good lord that was terrrrrrible. It tasted like the ice cream shell was made of wood chips and cardboard. Worst flavor and consistency I’ve ever had. The flan is great however.

I had the fried fish with fresh pico de gallo, it came with a side of beans & rice, salad & home made tortillas. My husband had the fajitas Mar y Tierra with beef chicken & shrimp, with the same sides. Our food got to us quickly, and was delicious! Mari our waitress was so friendly & attentive. We will definitely be back!
