I’m visiting Turlock from Australia where we don’t have Chicken Fried Steak & Country Gravy so I’ve been trying all the local diners and My Garden Cafe has the best that I’ve found!! The Hotcakes were also really delicious. Would have rated 5 stars but my partner’s Philly cheese steak had really tough & chewy steak so he had to remove the meat from the sandwich. He said the onion rings were pretty good though.

I found another great breakfast place in Turlock. I had The Corned Beef Hash plate with country potatoes, scrambled eggs, and a biscuit with gravy. Very tasty!!!! I loved the corned beef hash. For my beverage, I had black coffee, a large orange juice, and ice water. My only gripe is that the large orange juice is rather small. Other than that, the portions are large. The service here is very good.
