This is the third time I’ve ordered from this location and received 90% hot water. Looking at reviews, I realize this is just a thing they do here.. Times are tough, but I have zero sympathy for Starbucks cutting costs at their customer’s expense. Between the watered-down product and their obnoxious insistence that I give my name in the drive-thru line (Nothing but psychological tricks. I always have problems with this location and I’m not sure why I keep going back. This time my refresher was just a cup of water, had basically no flavor and my girlfriends shaken espresso was made incorrectly with burned espresso and what seems to be regular milk instead of the oat milk it’s supposed to be made with. She also added vanilla cold foam at the suggestion of a staff member which they ignored despite having paid for. Anytime this place gets just a little bit busy the quality of the drinks suffers majorly. Super bummed.

Since Marilú started taking over the afternoons on Mondays, everything has leveled up. The store is spotless her crew is on point and the energy she brings just makes the whole place better. I stop by often and it is clear she doesn’t just manage she inspires the people around her. She definitely deserves some kind of recognition, whether that is employee of the month or something even more special. There is just something about the way she runs things focused, calm, and full of heart that makes it impossible not to notice.
