This is definitely one of our favorite spots in St Louis. The pastries are deliciously fresh, specially the croissants (all of them are great!). They make small batches and the quality is always top-notch. The coffee is great. We tried many different options and they were always perfectly prepared. It is for sure the best mocha in town! Staff is friendly and we always feel welcome.

4.5 STARS, across all 3 categories. Their baked items certainly give them an edge. I'm happy that neighborhood has such a good coffee shop, especially for those within walking distance. For the rest of us, however, parking at Comet is rarely easy. Wayfinding could be better, too. Love their approach of offering coffees popular elsewhere! Staff is nice as can be.

Small place with its own unique atmosphere. The Pain au Chocolate and Croissants are super flakey and buttery. The coffee is strong but delicious.

PROs: Good location. Friendly service. Large selection of pastries and they're great. Coffee was ok. Comfy aesthetic atmosphere. CONs: Pastries a tad pricey. Set sizes on coffee, see menu. Nearly $30 (before tip) we ordered 3 pastries & 2 coffees. But we only received 1 coffee. The barista was kind enough to provide the missing coffee we ordered but supposedly it wasn't recorded. We paid in cash and didn't ask for a receipt. An afterthought, nearly $30 is pricey for 3 pastries and 1 coffee.
