We were just passing through St Louis and heard about this place. We didn’t have much time but the 4 of us sat at the root beer float “bar” and ordered floats. The place was busy and looked like they were running food out like crazy. The floats were less than $10 each, which was a shock because usually a fancy milkshake, where they are really “over the top” are quite pricy. I got the “gooey looey” which was draft Fitz cream soda with chocolate and vanilla ice cream scoops (4 giant scoops!) caramel drizzle and gooey butter cake on top. Phenomenal. All I can say. Loved this place!! Our waiter was great and made sure we were taken care of. I got the patty melt, my sister got the Philly, and my daughter the bottler burger. Everything was great including the float we got for my sisters birthday. A chill atmosphere and good experience. Hope to be back next visit to St. Louis!!

First and last time here. From the moment we stepped inside, we noticed the place lacked basic cleanliness—the floors were sticky, and the furniture was incredibly worn out. I still had high hopes for the food and drinks, but they turned out to be an even bigger disappointment. ​We weren't given water when we sat down and had to specifically track someone down just to get a glass for our child. When our drinks arrived, the root beer was completely flat and bland. The food was just as bad: all of our fries were served cold, and my fish and chips were nothing near crispy. It was honestly disgust

The soda is phenomenal and the food is also tremendous! I love the chili mac, it’s a big serving and so delicious. They have my favorite grape soda, and I also love the Shirley Temple and Cardinal Cream as well. The 24 pack of soda is a great deal. Service is always fantastic as well!
