Best torta lengua I’ve ever had in St Louis. I drive out across town for it. The salsa is also amazing. I am Southeast Asian and my spicy tolerance is very high, this salsa is for real SPICY. Every staff member I’ve ever interacted with has been so sweet and friendly. Getting tortas and salsa and having a picnic at Castlewood has become a new tradition thanks to this place. Thank you!!

On an adventure to find good authentic Mexican restaurants within the surrounding areas of STL. Today's trip leads us to El Jarocho, definitely a place we'll be back to more often as the food was fabulous. Are you looking for a place for delightful authentic street tacos, Mexican Coca-Cola and a small grocery store with snacks, definitely recommend El Jarocho. The restaurant/store was clean, had a variety of chips, candy, sweets and beverages. While you're there, have some delicious street tacos. One of the best we've found so far.

This is a place that’s 10 minutes from home but our first time in. Everything we heard was true. The carne assada tacos were amazing. That’s how I judge a place I will go on the regular. We also had the quesabirria quesadilla. This thing was fried, huge, loaded with meat and cheese, fantastic birria flavor. The last thing was a taco Al pastor. Another amazing taco. I’ll get pics next time!!!!
