I recently stopped by this BBQ spot because I was really craving some barbecue. Overall, the food was just okay. I ordered the three-meat plate. The mac and cheese had a great texture, but it didn’t have much flavor until I added some salt. The beans were sweet but very heavy on the black pepper. For the meats, the ribs were tender and enjoyable, the pork was also tender but lacked flavor, and the brisket was dry and a bit underwhelming. We got the three meat platter (pulled pork, sausage, and brisket) with a pound of ribs. The meat was tender and full of smokey flavor. We also had the creamy coleslaw and potato salad as our sides. Both sides were fantastic as well. The first time I had Dave's was in 2021 when we ordered food for my friends. I remember all of us going "this is some damn good bbq." I am happy to say that this still rings true 4 years later.

The Mac and cheese had no flavor. The spicy slaw was pretty good. The brisket was a little dry but pretty good, nothing to brag about. The pulled pork was flavorful and juicy. I would try them again overall.
