rishi bansal★★★★★Nice, very upscale, north Italian restaurant in center city. Exceptional tasting menu and prix fix menus. The wine list is great too. However it took almost 45 minutes from the time we sat down to the first piece of food, the bread basket to arrive. Once the food started coming we were very happy with the attentiveness of the service and the overall experience. I did not deduct even a 1/2 star for the delay. The appetizers were nice, i had the blue fin tuna appetizer which was nice. The pasta dishes are spectacular but appropriately modestly sized. I had the classic split, which had a spinach pasta and an almond pasta. The almond pasta was excellent. The molten pistachio dessert was delicious. Great special occasion restaurant. Recommended.
hungry angela★★★★★probably some of the best made food in philly WOW! everything was amazing. we came with zero expectations and were blown away — excellent execution from the fantastic service to the perfectly cooked dishes. can’t go wrong with either two tasting choices: a la carte ($165) or tasting menu ($215). Chris and team were super supportive! not a gastronomic trip, more of a “this is really, really well made classic” what we ordered (⭐️’s for 5/5) ⭐️ early summer lettuce (goddess sauce 🤌) - scallop crudo - spaghetti alla chita with corn and sweetbreads ⭐️ caramelle with chanterelle mushrooms and peaches ⭐️ lamb chop (SO SOFT, smokey, rich) ⭐️ american wagyu ribeye (+$35) ⭐️ molten pistachio cake (I LOVED IT) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ gianduja with raspberry millefoglie and toasted marshmallow ice cream* *special accomodation from the tasting menu we were welcomed with a BUNCH of “freebees” as well (free…aka built-in). a welcome spritz of champagne and aperitif, a caviar-topped amuse buche, a lychee sorbet c
Caitlin Keiper★★★★★Hands down the best meal and dining experience ever. For Christmas, my husband got my friend and I a dinner reservation - she had to cancel, but I couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to eat here so I went solo! My server Danielle was amazing - extremely knowledgeable about the food and flexible in working with me to customize a four course menu that worked perfectly in what I was in the mood for. She brought me plate after a plate of the most delicious Italian food I’ve ever had and even encouraged me to try some new foods that I would’ve never otherwise tasted. I must have interacted with 5 different staff members throughout the night and all were professional and showed the ultimate hospitality. The greatest part about the experience was that Danielle and the rest of the staff treated me just as special as the party of six next to me when they did not need to. This was my first time getting out of the house and getting some “me” time after having two babies. It was everything I nee
Lyndsey McCormick★★★★★One of the best meals I've ever had, and definitely a top three in Philly. Exceptional food, outstanding service, immaculate vibes. They have the best kind of tasting menu, where each person gets to choose from 3-5 options per course. This made for a very fun meal with 3 other people where we all got different things and tried bites from each one. They also sent out several surprise bites, and the welcome cocktail was such a nice way to start. What a fun night with the best food! Such great textures, flavors, colors -- it was all happening! (We came for the first time in July 2025, but just getting to my review now).

shaun collins★★★★★Vetri Cucina is an absolute gem. The set menu runs about eight courses of classic Italian food, and the demo kitchen style dining experience makes it my all-time favorite format for a special dinner. We sat at the long bar overlooking the kitchen, which meant a front-row seat to watching the chef and staff work their magic throughout the meal. The real surprise of the evening was a visit from chef and owner Marc Vetri himself. He was warm, engaging, and full of personality, and arrived wearing the most memorable embroidered shirt covered in brilliantly detailed fungi. A genuinely delightful moment. The standout dish was the salt-crusted fish. Watching the staff crack open the salt crust tableside is a fun little ritual, and the fish underneath was absolutely phenomenal. Every course was thoughtful and beautifully executed. If you love Italian food and want a truly special dining experience, do not hesitate. Highly recommend.
Jordan Newton★★★★★My girlfriend and I went here for our anniversary dinner, and while our expectations were high, we both left incredibly impressed and appreciative of the wonderful evening. The staff were all warm, hospitable, and incredibly professional. Our server Danielle did a fantastic job helping my girlfriend navigate the menu with her dietary restrictions in mind. The pacing of the experience was perfect, with plenty of little surprises sprinkled throughout. The food was fantastic. The sweet onion crepe and classic split were two of the best dishes I've had in my life, with the smoked spaghetti and desserts also being standouts. Overall, a lovely experience made possible by an incredibly talented staff.
