So many great things I can say but they will never do justice to visiting Poppy’s in person. Definitely one of the best stops in Waukegan for a burger, hot dogs, gyro or italian beef. The prices are great for the portions you get, and they never skip on flavor at all. Great customer service, staff is always friendly and the rare times I’ve experienced a problem they never hesitated to solve it. Parking is a little tight but if you come at the right time you will have no problem. Been coming here for some years and theres a reason I always come back, keep doing what you are doing.

The best chicago food out here, very surprising! Me and my family loves this place. I moved to San Diego for a decade, coming from the west side of Chicago we didnt think we would find a place that reminded us of Chicago but this place is legit. 10 stars for real. What an awesome "hole in the wall" joint. The people working were very kind. We got the double cheese burgers which were so tasty juicy and their fries were nice and crispy. Really great prices. There is only a couple of tables outside so don't expect to dine inside. Overall great little spot.

This was my first time here. I wanted s hot dog but got s gyro instead. Their sandwiches come with fries! The Gyro was pretty good and also a good portion. I thought the teziki needed a little more cucumber in it but it was still good. Great value here and staff is very friendly. I will have to come again. Foe those that will ask the onion and tomatoes are under neath.Oh and they serve ICE CREAM as well.
