If you want truly authentic Mexican food, this is a spot you have to come to their meats are so juicy their tacos are phenomenal. It’s a real Mexican experience Friday to Sunday. They have mariachi’s live. You have to try one of their signature margaritas they have about 15 margaritas under $15. The environment is great for kids family members about 400 people fit in here. You have a bar and the food is always on point. I highly recommend it.

I've been going to this place for 10+ years, maybe 20 - whenever they opened. It's been a slow steady decline over the last few years. Today was the final straw - I'm not going back. Chips went from my favorite thing, to off-tasting bitter (the taste I associate with over used oil). Tacos went from excellent, to hit or miss to just bad. Either the chicken has a weird flavor, or the taco shells are stale. We used to go almost weekly for the taco Tuesday, then monthly, and now to never. Today, 3 of us got tacos. Our family Loves Azteca. My husband brought me to Azteca as friends 2004 near 595 in their Davie location. Now 20 yrs later and married we bring our kids to this location. We can say, " You want Azteca?" and we all can already taste what we are going to order, just saying the restaurant's name. We ate here on Tuesday, the 30th of Dec. in the evening and it was a packed house. Our service and servers were excellent even though it was extremely busy. Bad experience. You could tell the meat in my taco was not fresh. Not authentic Tacos al pastor. Plus the bartender was rude as I stressed the quality of the food.
