Authentic delicious Italian food! We came on a Friday night with no reservation. The host was very welcoming and chatted with us. Food was really good, felt like we were in Italy! Our favorite was the artichoke appetizer. Service is in no rush, so do not be in a rush to eat. Small restaurant with lots of charm. Would recommend for a nice dinner

We recently visited Finalmente Trattoria after its reopening under new ownership following its post-COVID closure. It’s wonderful to see such an iconic Westport restaurant given new life, and there is clearly a lot of potential here. This was our first time and what a delicious restaurant! Joseph (I think that is his name?), the owner and/or manager, was charming and welcoming. The restaurant feels like you are having dinner at the home of an old friend- if your friend was from Napoli and a chef who makes magic with fresh seafood, chicken and pasta. A gem of a restaurant. What a great place. This was a meeting spot for a half way location to meet another couple. I searched and all the reviews were spot on. Had the bucatini carbonara which was more then enough to eat with great flavors. The Caesar salad was perfect, you can taste the fresh anchovies. The cheese cake was perfect. The staff was very attentive and the owners daughter was very friendly which makes for a great experience. Can’t wait to come back here.
