Love this place. Owner from medan, and food taste exactly how I grew up with. Sate padang, nasi lemak with ayam goreng and rendang . All taste like it's from medan Indonesia. Rempeyek, nanas star , kastangel, krupuk. Desert? Es cendol is exactly how I remember it from medan. It's hard to find good sate passing in nj, ny, pa. This is always the place that we go haha All amazing medan flavor. Owner also know best place to get tapai.

I haven’t eaten such a wholesome and heartwarming meal at a restaurant in a while. My meal was delicious! I got the beef rendang and ikan balado (fish). It was affordable and flavorful, especially the beef rendang and coconut rice. It was tender and juicy. The service was quick and friendly as well.

Their variety of Indonesian dishes used to be consistently delicious and was the main reason I kept coming back over the past few years. Unfortunately, it feels like both the portion sizes and overall consistency across the menu have declined over time. The beef rendang in particular used to be one of my favorite dishes here, but lately it has been very hit or miss. I wish I could give a 4.5. They give you two small pieces of beef for the beef rendang. Seasoned very well but that is like $17.50 after tax. Their chicken satay is very good, get that instead. They are delicious and reasonably priced
