Overall it was good. The pasta was delicious and the cheesesteak was surprisingly really good too. The rice balls weren’t really my favorite I felt like there was just too much going on with the flavors and it didn’t really come together for me personally. The only downside was that the service felt pretty slow, but once we ordered, the food actually came out really fast. I’ve also been to the Huntington Valley location and the inside there feels more upscale and has a really nice date-night vibe. The Philly location we went to felt more casual and relaxed, but still a good experience overall

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday, and I have to start by saying I had heard so much about it. I was really excited to dine here, and it was just as great as I hoped it would be. As soon as you walk in, the space feels very cozy and gives you a warm, familiar vibe. We ordered a few dishes to share, starting with the Oh My Sweet Ricotta, which was absolutely delightful—I’m already dreaming of having it again! We also shared one of their pizzas, and they’re huge! (We ordered Mamma Leuzzie's Pie.) For pasta, we had the Drunken Rigatoni. Everything was amazing—fresh and full of flavor. W

Not only did they give me one of the best cheesesteaks that I've had during my time in Philly (and I've had 10 other places), but the service was also exceptional (special thanks to the red head waitress). Not to skip past the crab Mac N cheese which was also top notch. The cheese pull on the Magg pizza was one that all places should strive to achieve. The truffle fries with the cheese sauce was very tasty as well. All in all, this place serves delicious food at very fair prices. I can easily recommend them

My family and I had a fantastic experience at Café Carmelo and everything I tried was truly impressive. Starting with the fried rice ball, as you can see in the photos, it is very well prepared. The rice looks great, and the amount of basil pesto sauce is clearly visible, giving it a rich green color. You can really taste the pesto, the cheese, and the fried rice together. The Caesar salad was very fresh, and the fries were excellent. We ordered the Bianco pizza it tasted amazing. One important note the back of the pizza is not burnt. It is actually crisp.
