We were looking for dinner on Father’s Day and everywhere else had a long wait. We decided to try Lakeview and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was good, the service was fast & friendly, and prices very affordable. If you want a drive-in experience this is worth the stop. And a disc golf course and park across the street!

This place used to be so good, I don’t know if ownership changed or what but I went last night and had a very underwhelming experience. First, I got there a whole hour before close and the staff was very short and annoyed that I came in. Then ordered my food and was given the wrong food item. When pointed out to staff they accused me of ordering something that wasn’t on the menu? Even though it literally said it on the menu in front of me. Food was just ok, but for the price point, it is not worth it in my opinion. Maybe just a bad night, but don’t think I’ll be back.

My wife and I love drive-in diners, this place has a wonderful atmosphere, food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I got the BLT and the bacon was crispy but not burnt and the tomatoes were a nice thickness, fries were crispy and the homemade root beer is thick and very rich! We live about an hour away and I'll say I'm coming back to Winona just for this little treat!

I went to this place over 20 years ago when I was visiting from Australia. I still think about it regularly. One of my favorite places. Best cheese curds and best root beer float I have ever had. Never been able to find anything here in Australian that comes even close.
