Loved it here at Caravan - we were hosted by Vladimir and he was delightful! We got a great meal that showed off a range of local cuisine including dumplings, lamb, crispy eggplant salad, obi non (bread) and baklava. I’d highly recommend ordering the compote juice, the crispy eggplant salad, the obi non and the baklava.

Food is very bland, compared to other restaurants we visited during our 9 days in Uzbekistan. The portion very small given this price, and the food lack proper seasoning, definitely won’t recommend. We were very disappointed in basically every dish we had. The only good thing was the live band did play some good music.

Phenomenal experience at Caravan this evening. We had Vladimir as our waiter and he ensured we had the best time! His English was great and he helped us pick the highlights from the menu to ensure a well rounded meal reflective of Uzbek cuisine. The crispy eggplant salad and obi non bread were particularly good, and I’d also recommend the compote drink (from the Fergana Valley with simmered local fruit and sugar) The location was also lovely - it was vine covered, romantically lit and there was a live band too. I would highly recommend visiting.

Extremely good. The carp was amazing. They have horse meat here seasonally, though I did not eat it. There was an amazing band when we were eating here playing traditional uzbek music mixed with jazz. Very delicious wine selection and also eggplant. But the best thing about it was the ambiance, setting, music, and great service. They also have hookah and cigarettes. Expensive by Uzbek standards, but we did drink a lot of wine, and I would have paid an entry fee just to see the musicians.
