I always have a wonderful time at Zen Café! Their curries are a highlight - the butter chicken with roti or rice is a must try (make sure to ask for it spicy if you can handle the heat!). Their freezos and milkshakes are also great. Personal favorites include the mango and passionfruit freezos, and the yummy coffee milkshake. What I like most is Zen Café's constant evolution. The updated seating area and décor create a cozy atmosphere, while the new play area makes it an ideal spot for families, especially on weekends. Overall, Zen Café offers delicious, fresh, and affordable meals, paired with good service that's both quick and efficient. Highly recommended!

I had gone last week Sunday and I can say that I was truly impressed with the service provided! Not only was the food delicious, the staff was welcoming and kind, which added to the overall good experience! I ordered butter chicken with rice, chicken samosas and a latte. They did not miss the mark! Initially, when I saw the food portion, I was skeptical on whether it was going to be filling, but it was! Lastly, I ordered a piece of chocolate cake as takeaway and I loved the fact that it was not overloading with sugar. I would definitely recommend! Hopefully, they continue only growing from here onwards

I was recommended this place from a good friend and I have to say I really loved the coffee, food relaxed atmosphere and the hospitality. I like this kind of places for coffee and food, I really don’t think there’s much places like this in Zimbabue or at least in Bulawayo. I ordered the double espresso and the barista made it very well, just as I like it. I also had the beef curry and samoosas, the taste was great! I will definitely go back whenever I’m around.

Zen Cafe is a gem in Bulawayo ! Great spot for a meeting or brunch with friends. The food was excellent, I had the butter chicken which is a favourite on the menu ( check for the little hearts) and the steak sandwich was filled with cheesy goodness ! Really generous portion sizes and a coffee and carrot cake is a must ! 10/10 recommend if you are in Bulawayo
