What really impressed me was their incredible kombu butter seafood linguine. The pasta was perfectly cooked, coated in a rich kombu butter topped with roe, and two jumbo, juicy prawns, making it a dish that had everything I love. a must order! 🍝 I was also surprised by the takoyaki’s perfect texture and a big chunk of octopus in it. You also can’t miss their NEW adorable black sesame pudding (also available in matcha) with a mini red bean fish. They also have a large range of signature cafe drinks - PS the matcha here absolutely slays 👏🍵

Food is great. I recommend the Salmon Ochazuke. Not much service from staff. The cafe is actually quite messy with many cardboard boxes lying around. Weekend surcharge 10% Card surcharge applies.

Visited MR HUGO recently and absolutely loved it. The King Prawn Tempura Udon was comforting with perfectly chewy noodles and crispy tempura. The Unagi Don was tender, flavourful, and beautifully glazed with sweet soy sauce. Dessert and drinks were a highlight especially the Berry Nana Misu and the Matchamisu. Such a great spot for Asian-inspired comfort food in Melbourne CBD. Would definitely come back and highly recommend.

The Mog Champ sends his regards. Visited for an early brunch, they still seem to have an old menu online where I was interested in the sandwiches but I ordered their honey glazed chicken croissant which was fantastic. We also got a hojichamisu which was quite interesting and a chocolate float. Service was friendly and I like how the cafe is nicely lit. Thanks for the brunch Mr HUGO!
