Had a really great experience at Creole Soul Kitchen. We ordered the Swamp Rat Pizza, Duck Wings and the French Quarter Pasta and honestly every dish was delicious. The pizza had so much flavour and the toppings worked really well together. The duck wings were cooked perfectly and had a great balance of flavour with their honey sauce. The French Quarter Pasta was definitely a favourite. It has a bit of a kick to it but packed with flavour. The service was just as good as the food. Loved eating here overall! The staffs were super welcoming and took care of us really well. The food we ordered were voodoo egg rolls, soul kitchen prawns and chicken fried chicken (100% recommend all of them!!) They also have a beautiful dessert menu. The potions are great as well. We were full in just three dishes. It is located away from the city but not too far. It is not too noisy. Beautiful art and a vibey place. A gem. I would definitely come here again.

Insanely good - when I saw Crystal hot sauce on the table I knew I was in for a proper New Orleans experience, and that menu! Had the chicken fried steak bites, chicken and biscuits, etouffee, gumbo, and beignets....maybe a cliched order, but everything was delicious and was easily the best NoLa food I've had in Oz. My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant on a Tuesday night. They were pretty packed but still found us a table. We got the fried eggplant, chicken fried chicken, gumbo, and garlic butter curly fries. Everything was delicious. I really enjoyed the fried eggplant, I’d say they were my favourite. It was flavourful, well battered, and something about it tasted like pickles. The fried chicken was perfectly crunchy and seasoned well.
