Visited Knowhere for a (reasonably) big one-person dinner. No sharing, just me vs the menu (cos I wanted to try so many things!) Ended up ordering 3 plates: 🍤 Bang Bang Prawns – $20 Crispy prawns with avocado and herbs. The avo was creamy, and the prawns were crunchy on the outside with a juicy, plump interior. Honestly a great starter. 🥩 300g Dry-Aged Kidman Sirloin w/ mushroom sauce – $42 Requested medium-rare though I suspect it was closer to medium/medium-well? Properly beefy, though perhaps not as tender as I'd have liked. Still pretty dang good though! 🦆 Confit Duck Thai Green Curry

The staff are always super friendly and attentive this also includes the chefs that doing a great job serving up fresh and tasty items. Glad to see a venue that is open late for diners. I do however prefer the previous menu rather than the current one. I like the attempt at try to ensure there is variety and a fusion of cuisines.

So friendly attentive (especially the cute French guy) and well priced for the respective quality. Not super flash more homely however there comes a price for being showy and I’d rather an affordable down to earth venue. My second time and will be back for the duck empanadas and slice of meat heaven when back in Brissy.

Food was really good. Definitely recommend the rib bites and the steak. My only complaint is that I wish that the steak had different sauce options (mushroom sauce is your only choice).
