We stopped by Freestate Cafe and tried both the beef brisket toastie and the loaded chicken toastie. The beef brisket was absolutely amazing! I’d say it’s rich, tender, and packed with flavor. It definitely deserved a 5/5 from me. The loaded chicken toastie was tasty as well, but the flavors were a bit overpowering and didn’t quite balance as well, so I’d rate it a 4/5. Both dishes came in generous portions with big servings, so you definitely get good value for your money. The staff were kind and friendly, which added a nice touch to the overall experience and made us feel welcome. The vibe

Arrived late for a coffee - they were packing up as closing early after v busy summer holidays and he was "cooked". Lovely barista still made me a coffee (large at no extra cost) despite having cleaned the machine ready for next day. Fab service and excellent coffee. Secured my loyalty with such good service.
