The food was not great. The mussels in white wine was rather bitter and tasted pretty much of celery and nothing else. The sol fish was OK. The calamari was good. The tomato soup was nice. During our lunch the staff were trying to empty the water from the roof which unfortunately fell.onto the table with guests next to us. The mussels portion was big but reasonable for the price.

Had a reservation at lunch time in a busy end of year day. I sat indoors given the harsh chilly weather so the atmosphere here goes to the very well maintained, somewhat posh interior sitting area. Food was great - nothing insanely good. I don't know why in Belgium the portion sizes could feed a family of 3; food was abundant and deliciously yummy. Service was also remarkable cannot fault them.

The service really stood out — our waitress spoke excellent English and was warm, attentive, and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. The steak was the highlight — a huge 600g portion that absolutely made my day. Great quality, cooked just right, and incredibly satisfying. I also had a prawn aperitif to start, which was a nice touch before the meal. We arrived at lunchtime and were worried we wouldn't get a seat because we hadn't made a reservation. Luckily, there was still table for us inside, as the outside area was already full. The staff was friendly and pleasant, and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back again someday❤️❤️
