After Sky Dragon restaurant in Poco is now permanently closed, we were looking for a Chinese buffet. We tried China Kitchen in Maple Ridge, and even though it's further to go, it's worth the drive! The staff are friendly and attentive!

Coming here for almost 30 years and it was always amazing until last Thursday. Came here at 6:30pm prime dinner hour and restaurant was at half capacity with big groups at tables. Buffet was mostly empty trays and the food was showing overheat burn from sitting out too long. Inspector temp controls would have failed if tested.Not once did they refill and meats and shrimps tasted rubbery. Paid increase price of 30$ a person which I dont mind if food is good but quality was bad. Our table fell ill that night with food poisoning. They need an inspection asap from health department and will report

It’s an average tasting Chinese buffet. There is lots of variety but some items have been out for a while and the food is not frequently replenished. The sweet and sour pork is good and the buffet items were hit or miss. The ice cream selection for the buffet is good as it includes 6 flavors including mint chocolate chip, maple walnut, cappuccino flake, vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. The fruits are watermelon and oranges. They have salad and the classic mall type Chinese food items in the buffet. Nothing was outstanding but everything was okay and edible. Price is alright for what you get

Great food. Lots of options. $25 for all you can eat not including drinks. $5 for a soda. The food was hot and fresh and looked aesthetically pleasing. The only downside was the shrimp wasn't cleaned. Lots of staff on hand. The restaurant and buffet area was very clean. Every time you touch something they're there to rearrange it and make it look nice. Very friendly to chat with. I'd definitely go back. The older photos are from when I ordered takeout which is also good.
