It was such a delight to discover a proper Indian restaurant, that too a south Indian one, in Quebec City. It's apparently opened just a week ago! The owners are Tamilian, so it makes sense that they got their dosas and chutneys just right. I ordered the mysore masala Dosa and the ghee podi Dosa. Both were perfect. But north Indian dishes have a south indian twist - the chapati was basically paratha and the kadhai chicken became kind of chicken korma. However, both were still tasty. The owner and the server were very polite.

This is easily my favorite place for Indian food in town. Stopped by around 2 PM for a late lunch and ordered the Mysore Masala Dosa and Veg Manchurian. As always, the dosa was the highlight. It had that perfect crispy texture, and the spicy Mysore chutney spread inside gave it a really great kick. The sambar and chutneys on the side were super fresh too. The Veg Manchurian was also fantastic. They absolutely nail the Indo-Chinese flavor every time—nicely spiced, tangy, and cooked perfectly without being soggy. The best Indian restaurant and the only south Indian restaurant in Québec city. We tried dosa, sambar vada, lamb vindaloo, chicken Chettinad, chicken 65 and porotta. Everything was delicious, the sambar especially was so tasty and authentic. Hands down, this is the go-to place for authentic Indian food in Québec city.
