Dare I say the best Japanese restaurant in Richmond! Me and my friend came around 7 on Saturday without a reservation and were seated within 15 mins. We ordered the chickpea salad as an appetizer, which was very refreshing and perfect to share with two-three people. My friend got the scallop cream pasta, which was light and buttery. The pasta was al dente and the seafood went great with the sauce. I ordered the black cod special, which was amazing. The cod was cooked perfectly and paired perfectly with the pistachio sauce. I visited during their 5th anniversary celebration and ordered the Shimeji Wafu & Bacon spaghetti, Black Garlic & Osyter Mushroom fettucine, Pulled Pork Ragu fusilli. My favourite was the Shimeji one - a pleasant light bite with a punch of shiso flavour. Really delicious. Could also taste the nice parmesan in the pork ragu. It also came with a selection of two drinks - Yuzu Ginger and Guava Sunset - both also very tasty. Would recommend a return visit!

Very neat, clean and professional restaurant with a homie aesthetic from its decoration. The friendliness of the staff made the experience very enjoyable. Never had such a delicious european-japanese fusion meal in Vancouver until I came here. In terms of food & quality, the hamachi carpaccio + salmon poiret were on the special menu. We’ve been here so many times and it’s still one of my go-to spots for pasta! This time we got the scallops uni cream fettuccini and the black garlic oyster mushrooms with bacon & onsen tamago — honestly unbelievable, sooo crazy good 🤤 Also shared the crab croquettes and omg… I couldn’t stop eating them. Already thinking about the next visit, will definitely be back again soon!
