Cute little gem of a restaurant! Yes, the neighborhood is a bit rough but the food, service & retro vibe did not disappoint. They also sell homemade hot sauces & jams. The lady who served me was lovely. Free parking for up to 90 minutes on street. Very cool place, will return.

Quality cut of prairie ribeye steak, with fat chunks that simply melt in your mouth, not too grisly. The green onion and peppers with the fried potatoes are a nice touch. Eggs done right. The orange slice is appreciated. No cheating out on the buttered toast, blueberry jam or peanut butter. Staff are attentive and genuine, keeping the drinks cold or hot, and flowing to you. The diner is filled with antiques and cool wonders. Kudos for selling homemade soups, hot sauces, jams jellies and rarely the occasional pie if you are lucky. Usually busy and loud during peak breakfast and lunch times.
