Amazing experience. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, and it’s honestly hard to believe this was a buffet because the quality was outstanding throughout. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t enjoy. The service was just as great as the food. Every member of the team was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel cared for from the moment we arrived. Must go when in Cairo! The restaurant is located inside mena house which is the most breathtaking hotel I’ve ever seen, genuinely jaw dropping. When eating outdoors, you are immersed in this beautiful garden looking at the pyramids. The service is also very good and attentive. The food is good, especially the cold and hot mezze. The view at this restaurant is, without a doubt, breathtaking. Even though we did not have a reservation, the staff welcomed us warmly and seated us at a beautiful table, which we truly appreciated. The food was very enjoyable. The köfte, Turkish eggplant kebab, traditional Egyptian dish Koshari, and pasta with Bolognese sauce were all flavorful and well prepared. While the cuisine is not fine dining, the dishes were satisfying and well executed. We also enjoyed a wonderful Beausoleil white wine, made from a traditional Egyptian grape. On our last evening, watching the sunset over the Pyramids, accompanied by live music and this wine, was truly a memorable and delightful experience. Prices are on the higher side due to the exceptional location and view, rather than the culinary concept itself. Overall, it is a lovely place to enjoy good food, a unique atmosphere, and one of the most iconic views in the world

We visited 139 Pavilion at Mena House for an early dinner before starting our tours, and it was truly a magical setting. The view of the Pyramids is absolutely breathtaking - especially as the sun begins to set. The gardens are immaculate, and the overall atmosphere feels peaceful and elegant. The food was tasty and beautifully presented, though the service was a little underwhelming, especially considering the standard of the hotel. However, the setting more than makes up for it. If you can, plan your visit around sunset, it’s unforgettable watching the sky change colours behind the Pyramids while you dine.

I visited the restaurant inside Marriott Mena House, Cairo. This place feels less like somewhere to enjoy a meal and more like a place you come specifically to see the pyramids from here. Because the hotel is located very close to the pyramids, the grounds are spacious and well maintained, with clean gardens and surroundings. Being able to sit in this calm setting while looking directly at the pyramids is a special experience that is hard to find anywhere else. To be honest, it’s better not to have high expectations for the food. Including the breakfast buffet, this is more about the experience of dining in this location rather than seeking outstanding flavors. If you rate it purely on food quality, it might not score very high, but the time spent here with the pyramids right in front of you is truly one of a kind.
