Stopped at Bistro Populaire for a quick bite before wrapping up a short passage at Arles. With it’s shinning staff, limited but inspired menu, and overlooking the Arles Amphitheater, it is a very strong choice amidst several restaurants around it. Mediterranean inspired take on the French bistro model at a reasonable price. Glad I discovered it and I’ll likely come again.

Excellent cuisine, especially the superb mussels. Locals have said this restaurant has had some of the best mussels in the city for years. We can confirm they are the most delicious. And a very pleasant place, right overlooking the arenas.
