Highly recommend this slightly quaint restaurant in what I assume is a very old building in Clermont. We had the smoked trout and cod to start. I had the Truffade avec Charcuterie, and my husband had the Pepper Steak. I had never had truffade before, and it was delicious! Rich but oh so tasty. It's essential melted cheese and sliced potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked and very flavourful. My husband had creme brûlée for dessert and said it was wonderful. It was a nice experience eating lunch there with friends, the owner is quite friendly, and serving all the homemade meals, I ordered the daily plat with beef and pan fried potatoes and salad aside, others ordered the truffade. All tasted pretty good, and I especially like the pain perdu with caramel beurre salé ice-cream. It’s just the price is a little bit high to me.

Ended up there on a quick search, no expectations. The place was traditional, simple and clean. The waitress very very nice and friendly. Ok level of English. The food was French, local to the region of Auvergne and delicious. Particularly the truffade and the mille feuille. See photos.
