Gracious hosts at this lovely little café. The care really shows. I was in the mood for sushi and asked for a wakame salad, taking note of the variety of dishes offered. The sushi was generously served, as was the salad. Everything was fresh. The sushi rice leaned toward sweet, which balanced my liberal application of soy and Wasabi. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to farmed salmon, which can't compare with the buttery texture of the real thing. I'd recommend to reduce the portion size and zero in on balance of ingredients. Next time I'll try the cooked options!

They say not to judge a book by its cover, and this place proved that right. I visited with no particular expectations, as the decoration made it look more like a Chinese restaurant. However, I noticed they also serve Japanese dishes, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the salmon sashimi rice bowl, and it turned out to be wonderful!
