Out last night in Paris and we deduced to try II Gigolo and loved the food and the restaurant. We were greeted so warmly by what appeared to be one of the owners that we knew we made the right choice for dinner. I ordered the Margherita pizza and enjoyed the flavors. The crust was crispy, the tomato sauce was light and the cheese was fresh. Great pizza with hot oil. My partner ordered the Spaghetti Pomodoro and said the sauce was very good. This restaurant was nearby and we walked in because the decor was super cute and fun. A lot of flowers and bright colors. We also wanted to eat Italian food and figured why not give it a shot. We walked in about 1 o’clock in the afternoon and the restaurant was completely packed from front to end. We were however, seated fairly quickly in one of the only open tables available. Our waiter was quick and efficient. I ordered a seafood pasta dish and my cousin ordered a mushroom risotto. She adored her risotto. I enjoyed my pasta. It did have a lot of mussels and it was a hearty portion.
