Outstanding food in a casual atmosphere. We had the Saturday special of roast chicken dinner, best ever. Generous portions of quality and ultra tasty chicken (naturally raised), heavenly mashed potatoes and mix of small grilled veggies. And only €10 each plate. Oh, and a sizeable bowl of salad greens with a tangy vinaigrette. Add some great craft beers or local wines. All at a fraction of what you'll pay in the central tourist areas of Strasbourg where you'd get about half the serving quantity. Our entire bill came to only €29. When you’re visiting a country, other than your own, walk into a place to see it populated by locals, that’s a good thing. Busy place. Fun environs. Great service. Great food. One meal was the potatoes and Muenster, with a side salad. The other was a very fresh ingredient Cesar salad, with grilled chicken (not the typical fried chicken pieces often found in France). Both meals were delicious with volume way beyond our eating capacity.
