I ordered the cordon bleu with a glass of wine. The Cordon bleu very good, as were the pub style fries and Austrian style coleslaw (think more vinegar and no mayo - good for digestion 😄😉) that came with it. The seating indoors was cozy and welcoming, and I enjoyed being able to see into the kitchen, as the chefs were at work. Friendly staff. There was plenty of outdoor seating, but I opted to sit inside.

We visited again yesterday after a long time. Back in the day, this used to be Burgerei and was known for really good burgers. Since Almrausch had a burger on the lunch menu, we decided to give it a try. We arrived at the restaurant around 11:40 a.m. To be honest, it was a bit strange: there was no one inside the restaurant neither service staff nor the chef and the chef was standing outside on the street smoking. This place is the destination to try some local food. I’Ve selected the veal schnitzel with a beer. The schnitzel was so good 😋 They can consider having more options for the beer 🍺 i definitely recommend. I paid 32€ in total!
