You can’t miss the huge eye catching red lobster outside Fisch Witte in Viktualien Market in Marienplatz Munich. We did not make reservations ahead but fortunately we came in around 2pm, it took us about 15min to get a table. Not too bad. We ordered Fishsoup for sharing, Spaghetti Meeresfruc & Loup de mer Gemuse (grill fish). I must say the seafood served were of top freshness. Of the 3 dishes we ordered, personally I love the Seafood Spaghetti best, the generous tomato paste matched with fresh shrimp, mussels, fillets… and the spaghetti was prep al Dante. Waitress are friendly, they find a smooth path for my dad in wheelchair. The food portion is good enough for Asian. The seafood is fresh and taste good The toilet is clean but a bit small and not suitable for wheelchair. IT is well located near tourist spot. As usual, we give tip (5% ~ 8%) when make payment.

This fish restaurant is located in the Old Town, right by the Old Town market. It always features an impressive display of seafood, which immediately gives you the feeling that the ingredients are very fresh. During this visit we kept it simple and ordered pasta with prawns along with a salad. Everything was very tasty. The pasta tasted fresh, and the prawns were well prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it’s a very nice place to visit if you’re in the Old Town and want to enjoy good, fresh seafood in a lively and unique market area.

The fish was incredibly fresh! We started with the fish soup, it was delicious and full of flavor. I also tried oysters for the first time, which was a really nice experience. For the main course, we had sole fish; it was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Overall, I’d say this is one of the best spots in the city center for seafood lovers. Highly recommended!
