Nice traditional café. Went on a Saturday afternoon, was not too crowded. Cakes looked appetizing so we decided to give it a try. Black forest cake was good. Cappucino was great with the thick milk foam. White wines were just ok, wish they had some some sparkling wine instead.

The cakes were extremely delicious and generous with the portions. Quite a variety and some lovely coffee options as well. They had wine and typical soft drinks to offer. The place was quite crowded but tables were turning quickly as it was mainly a dessert and coffee spot. Cool decor and the service was friendly. Would return (probably too often if I lived in Trier).

Everything was great! We got waffles and a slice of chocolate pie. The warm chocolate milk was great as well! The serving ladies were very nice and very polite. The place has a vintage look and feel. There is a free toilet too. In short it is a great place to eat and drink while having a nice talk.

Nice place and nice staff. Expected a bit more from the Schwartzwalder Kirchtorte, (too much cream) but then again we are not in the Black Forest and there were lots of real cherries in it. You can only pay by cash, but there is a bank with indoor cash withdrawal literally just around the corner.
