The atmosphere was okay, expected a vintage vibe but it was quite modern, having a Dj play during the daytime isn’t what you’d expect but overall okay experience
Cocktail was ok but didn't look like on the menu. Price was on the expensive side. Friendly service.

Taj Harbour Bar is pretty much the only place you’ll reliably find alcohol on a public dry day, and for that reason alone it attracts a lot of people. We went mainly for the occasion and to say we’d experienced it, rather than expecting good value for money. It’s very much a “you know what you’re walking into” kind of place. As expected from the Taj, the setting is polished, professional, and well presented, with attentive service and a calm, upscale atmosphere. It’s comfortable and refined, and you do feel looked after. That said, the prices are extremely high and impossible to ignore. We ordered four beers and four cocktails, and the bill came to over £80 (approximately 10,500 INR), which made it by far the most expensive drinks stop of our entire trip. While the quality and service are there, you’re paying a huge premium for the location, the name, and the fact that it’s one of the few options available on a dry day. It’s worth visiting once for the experience or for a special occ

The atmosphere was nice and calming, the servers were friendly and helpful, and the air smells of roses, but the drinks took exceptionally long to make and were way overpriced for their quality. For a price of 2000rs per drink, the drinks should be served with better suited glassware and with clear ice. The presentation is nothing special and while the drinks are somewhat tasty, they are marked up well beyond what they are worth.

Our experience was below our expectations from The Taj. We asked for a picante with an additional shot of tequila and a 90ml shot of gin with tonic. On being served, we reconfirmed the same and were assured that we were indeed being served our choices. Needless to say, we were disappointed with the drinks and asked for our cheque, which did not come with the charge of the additional shots of alcohol and on checking, we were told that they did not add the additional shots as we had requested for. The menus were torn and in terrible condition and the bar gratis was a big bowl of Tong Garden nuts! The table was stained and smelt of a dirty rag and the central candle holder, was just not to the calibre of Taj. Overall, not a great experience at all. This 5 star bar felt like a neighbourhood joint; even worse in terms of quality.

The Heritage walk at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel made us aware of the history behind the iconic "From the Harbor since 1933" cocktail that's being made the same way since the 1933. For some reason, they've removed it from the new menus but it's still available and comes with a little storytelling and live bartending/mixing by the staff. The story is quite fascinating. The prices of the cocktails are steep however. We paid 3600 INR for two of the same cocktails. The complimentary snacks were delicious. They've covered up the windows it seems, so the ambiance wasn't anything special. Service was exceptional as always at this hotel.

First bar in Mumbai. Signature cocktails are a must have. The story telling by the bartender gives you a good feel. Prices are reasonable considering the heritage and popularity of the Taj. The complimentary snacks provided are awesome. Beautiful view of Gateway of India from the windows adds to the experience. Recommended.

A great location doesn’t make a good bar We stayed for four days in this beautiful hotel and it was a great experience - but not the harbour bar. We should have be warned right after entering: no friendly hello from the staff and worst 90s pop songs played way too lout from a DJ (btw: who needs a DJ for that most mainstream unpersonal song selection?). The interior design is kind of post modern Art Deco but far from being cozy or cool. *But now for the drinks.*: One of the reviewers praised them for the story that would be behind each of the signature drinks. Well, the bar menu mentions a story for each signature drink. But there is no recognisable connection between the story and the drink. And there is not even necessarily a connection between drink description and drink. Or would you expect a garden salad with plenty of cucumber seeds that fills one third of your glass when only white rum, vodka, lime and syrup are mentioned in the menu? And One could overlook this, if the two sig
