Caffé Italia is exactly what you expect from a traditional Italian café. The staff is very friendly and also speaks English. Highly recommend trying the chocolate – it’s absolutely amazing! They also offer typical lunch options, making it a wonderful, authentic experience. when we visited we sat outside, where there were some construction works, but overall it was a very authentic experience.

Thought it would be a tourist trap but I was wrong. Solid place in a beautiful location with lovely service. The price is great (3.20euros for an affogato and latte). Their chocolate ice cream was very good and from Modica (known for its traditional way of making chocolate). They had many options for gifts and sweets, and some savoury ones. I would go back
