Visited Birdflower, one of the most anticipated cafés on our list, located in Weimarstraat, West Den Haag. We’ve heard about this place quite a few times, and a friend even told us that their bakery items often sell out before lunch! So, we decided to go early and be there right when it opened. And honestly, it was absolutely worth it. We tried the Almond Croissant and Kimchi Cheddar Croissant. Both were incredibly good! Perfectly baked, flaky, and flavorful. Nice café for coffee or lunch. The café has a nice vibe to it and the tosti i had was nice as well. The only downside was that our drinks (warm matcha lattes) were not hot enough. More lukewarm. Other than that it’s a great café. I enjoyed coming there!

I saw the positive Google reviews for this “lunch restaurant” and made the biggest mistake: I went there for lunch. The focaccia was oily, and the chicken and salad in it were completely tasteless. On top of that, the service was bad: the waitress forgot part of our order. Is taking notes considered a paid or premium feature here? Definitely not recommended for lunch. Maybe only for coffee.

It has a good variety of food options, vegan, gluten free, etc. There is something for everyone:) Also it is not some basic boring brunch as for usual. The coffee was very delicious!
