I had a fantastic experience at Em Sherif. From the moment I sat down, the abundant house bread kept coming, which set the tone for what turned out to be an excellent meal. The food was impeccable from the appetiser to the mains. Every dish was executed beautifully, and the flavours were exquisite. I ended up so full that I couldn’t even contemplate dessert, which was a bit of a shame. I had hoped they might accommodate a dessert as a takeaway, but unfortunately that wasn’t an option. Still, the food itself was great. Archie was my server for the evening and provided excellent service throughout. What really impressed me was the value. Considering the quality of the food and the surrounding restaurants in the area, Em Sherif is very well priced. You’re getting a lot for what you pay. The food quality alone makes it worth a visit, and the pricing makes it even more appealing. I would definitely come back, though next time I’ll pace myself better to save room for dessert.​​​​​​​​​​​​

He was handling several tables at the same time, yet every guest received exceptional attention and care. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient throughout the entire meal. Em Sherif is an exceptional luxury dining outlet in St Regis Hotel. All the stuff is very attentive, food is amazing, the design and interior is attractive. Pity that families with kids are not allowed to sit on the terrace with sea view since its a smoking zone, but its understandable. Better to make a reservation in advance.

I recently visited Em Sherif Restaurant and had a mixed experience. The food itself is undeniably good—flavorful, well-presented, and true to the brand’s reputation. However, the portions compared to the prices don’t feel justified, which takes away from the overall value. The service staff are polite and attentive, but it became a bit frustrating that they kept clearing tableware before we had fully finished or even asked for the bill. This felt unnecessary, especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy and many tables were empty. The location is beautiful, and that’s clearly one of its main attractions. Unfortunately, the smoking area occupies most of the prime view that people come for, making it uncomfortable to sit nearby and enjoy the atmosphere. There is valet parking available, but I personally preferred to park my car myself. I’ve heard concerns about how cars are handled, including reports of damage, which made me hesitant to use the service.

I have been hearing so many people praise Em Sherif, and I finally got the chance to try it. Service was excellent and the food came out surprisingly fast, less than 10 minutes from ordering to table. Everything arrived hot and fresh, and it was absolutely delicious. We tried the Fatoush salad, hummus with meat, and the lamb shoulder rice… all 10/10. Total bill was OMR 27
