This was one of the best meals we had in the whole Portugal trip. We enjoyed our lunch very much here. Friendly and professional staff who took time and explained to us their menu. Offered us some appetizers (on the house). We ordered the octopus and roast pork cheeks. They tasted great and so soft and melted in your mouth. Pricing is reasonable with excellent quality and values. Will for sure want to come back to this restaurant and eat again! Highly recommended!

This place was recommended by a tour guide and the results were phenomenal. We didn't have a reservation but the owner fit us in as a four some, on a very busy noght. He recommended a local wine, a Foral Devora, Cartuxa red, which was excellent. We had a variety of dishes to share and all of them wonderful. The hospitality was second to none. I recommend reservations and come with an appetite as the portions are large.

Had a wonderful lunch. Service was attentive and all dishes explained fully. Lovely restaurant nice atmosphere and an excellent selection of regional wines. Be sure to have a look at the collection of rare old Brandies and Ports one being bottled in 1920.
