What. A. FIND! Kind and courteous bilingual staff. Chill atmosphere. Each plate was completely different than the one before. Everything was spectacularly prepared. Super interesting and reasonably priced wine list. The portions were more generous than the typical Michelin recommendations. Authentic and interesting local cuisine. Wow!!! Just wow!! This restaurant is phenomenal! If you're looking for a break from the typical Spanish flavors in the area, this is the place to go. While the menu is small, the flavors are BIG BIG BIG! The services was also impeccable! The woman who served us was full of smiles and patience explaining menu items to us. We had three dishes, the tuna tartare, chop suey, and a pork plate. All were truly amazing and distinct. The tuna tartare was fresh and packed with flavor. Food was excellent, and the staff very friendly, patient and helpful. Must absolutely try the papadas with hierbabuena, peanuts and teriyaki sauce. The leche merenguada dessert was exquisite (and disappeared within seconds in our bellies). I want to come back to Cuenca just to eat here again.
