This well known by locals place is one of my favorite places here, it's small and cozy the food is excellent and the service incredible done by one of the nicest, funniest person I've met in Merida. I believe he's name is Jose (not sure) but you can't miss him.

Great food (really delicious & big servings), and amazing service. We chose the table next to the Temple of Diana & they didn’t show any dismay though it’s quite far from the kitchen.

Avoid. €52 chuletón for two came out cold and overcooked — completely inedible. Staff didn’t care and offered a single dessert for eight people as “compensation.” Several menu items (including jamón de bellota) weren’t available at 8pm, no desserts for the kids, no coffee or drinks at 10:30pm, and we were even overcharged for bread we didn’t receive. Expensive, poorly run, and not worth it.

Whilst walking around the city we stopped in this restaurent for something to eat and drink . There was a nice atmosphere and we had a cana and a copa de Rioja ( Ramon Bilbao) along with a plate of Lomo Iberica . It was really nice and relatively cheap.
